My greatest achievements lie in raising my son to be a fine, empathetic individual, training my husky to obey simple commands (usually), and keeping a fine, old house from destruction.
I’ve been deeply involved in my community for many years. It has given me a great deal of satisfaction to recently become a volunteer fundraiser with Rosedale Queen Mary United Church.
On occasion I find myself a bit ruefully saying that I may have spent longer at Lower Canada College in various capacities than my son spent as a ‘lifer’ – someone whose whole education was received at LCC. Be that as it may, my volunteer work for the school includes a six year membership on the Board of Governors, participating in the Executive Committee, heading the Advancement Portfolio (2000-2004), leading the Strategic Planning Initiative (2002), and instigating the Technology Committee (2004).
