Under my leadership and with my constant and consistent hands-
on involvement, Fifth Element fields a team that enables me to make this guarantee: There is no project, of whatever magnitude, looking at anything from head lice to the most complex cancer therapy, that we cannot undertake successfully, on budget, on time, and with immediate practical application.
Understandably, no industry is as regulated, monitored and inspected as the pharmaceutical industry. But let’s also recognize that for decades, pharmaceutical companies of every size and kind have committed themselves to fulfill the needs and uphold the rights of the millions of patients who count upon what the industry discovers, designs and produces to help them live better lives.
These companies are also deeply and positively engaged in helping to define ethical issues that arise with what they produce, and with the use people make of what they produce, sometimes over long periods of their lives.
By saying all this, I do not for a moment mean to suggest that the pharmaceutical industry hasn’t made any mistakes, doesn’t face enormous challenges in the new century, can’t do its job better.
But I can also say that the whole industry, and every client I personally work for, has a well-rooted and growing commitment to correcting mistakes and facing the challenges resulting from today’s health care and pharmaceutical environment.
This commitment now covers the full range of challenges facing the industry, from finding the huge amounts of money needed to launch a drug with wide medical applications, to anticipating the ethical dilemmas that arise with every new initiative in pharmaceuticals.
With the support of Fifth Element, our clients identify mistakes before they become problems. Indeed, with our interlinked research and strategic planning capabilities, we can often anticipate and neutralize mistakes before they even occur. Likewise, we can find ways for our clients to meet challenges before they become obstacles.
These interlinked capabilities grow out of my personal expertise within the industry, which extends from all forms of qualitative market research to strategic planning at every level and every degree of complexity.
Challenge us with a truly difficult project, one that nobody else can handle. That’s what stimulates us to do our best work. We’ll show you that we revel in keeping the guarantee I made at the outset of this piece. Let me make it again:
There is no project, of whatever magnitude, looking at anything from head lice to the most complex cancer therapy, that we cannot undertake successfully, on budget, on time, and with immediate practical application.
