Over the years the Pharmaceutical Marketing Club of Quebec has benefited tremendously from Sandra’s market research and industry expertise. To mark the 50th anniversary of the club, we set out to reflect on where we had been as an organization and to define the next 50 years. Sandra took charge of the initial survey as the first step in a review of our positioning with our customers; both PMCQ members and non-members from the pharma community. Through her research we were able to get a detailed read of their interests and needs as well as their current level of satisfaction with the PMCQ. Sandra was not only instrumental in helping us interpret the data but also in shaping our strategic plans for the future.

Sandra Shaw served on the Board of Governors of Lower Canada College (LCC), one of the country’s best independent schools, for six years (1999/2000 – 2005/2006). During my three year tenure as Chair of the Board of LCC (2000/2001 -2002/2003), I was fortunate enough to have Sandra as a member of my Board.
Sandra was a valued and very active member of the Board leadership team and served as Chair of a variety of important Board committees.
Perhaps the most significant of her many accomplishments was to lead the Strategic Planning Committee and its planning process to create a dynamic Strategic Plan which has greatly advanced the School.
Sandra’s keen insight, quick wit and constantly inquiring mind ensured that our Board meetings were always lively and stimulating. Her ability to focus on strategic issues and to constantly meet timelines significantly benefited the Board and LCC.

C'est depuis que je me suis jointe à Abbott Vasular que je travaille avec Sandra et dès mon premier contact avec elle, j'ai su que nous allions développer un partenariat à long terme.
